Numerical investigation of plastic flow and residual stresses generated in hydroformed tubes

During tube hydroforming process, the friction conditions between and die have a great importance on material plastic flow distribution of residual stresses final component. Indeed, three-dimensional finite element model process in case square section has been performed, using dynamic static approaches, to study effect both induced by process. First, comparative numerical experimental results carried out validate model. After that, various coefficients were considered their thinning phenomenon distribution.
